I am applying to enter the Originals Only Fine Art Show & Sale held on Saturday and Sunday, August 7 & 8, 2010 , at the Comox Marina Park, and will adhere to the conditions of entry.

OVERNIGHT SECURITY    On site security will be provided by a professional security company from 5 pm Saturday evening to 7 pm Sunday morning. Participating artists, at their own discretion, may leave their work in their display area. Please note that the Show cannot be held responsible for damages that occur due to weather or any other uncontrollable circumstances. Artists wishing to protect themselves from these kinds of circumstances should consider insuring themselves through their own insurance company.

Please Note:

  • no reproduction prints are allowed at the show ie. giclee prints etc.

  • art cards are the only acceptable printed material

  • no art painted on driftwood, rocks, shells etc.

  • you will be asked to remove these items from your display

  • if you have a questionable art item please ask before you display it

I have read the above and agree to the terms of the Originals Art Show Rules & Regulations.  I understand that I may NOT display any reproductions in this show other than small greeting cards, and that I may be asked to leave without refund if I persist in doing so.

My total fees (booth charge plus 12% HST ), (cheque payable to "The Town of Comox") are submitted with this application; and will be refunded in whole if I am not able to be assigned a booth.

With my acceptance as a participant in The Originals Only Art Show and Sale or any activity associated with it, I agree to release The Town of Comox and the Organizing Committee of the Originals Only Shows and/or their employees, agents or volunteers from and against all claims, actions, costs, expenses and demands in respect of death, loss, injury or damage to my person or property whatsoever caused, arising out of or in connection with my taking part in the event and notwithstanding that the same may have been contributed to or occasioned by any act or failure to act ( including without limitation, negligence ) of members of The Originals Only Group, The Comox Recreation Commission, The Town of Comox and/or any one or more of their employees, agents or volunteers. This agreement is binding on me, my heirs, executors and administrators.
